WALKER ARTHUR HAS $16,500 PAYDAY IN VICTORY LAP LATE MODELS AT VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY

It came down to the final four laps of the 40 Lap Victory Lap Late Model feature to decide the 2008 Championship. With the crowd at their feet Walker Arthur of Forest, VA held off a late race challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my site. I appreciate the fan support when I'm at the track & when everyone drives by the shop honking their horns. 2011 & 2010 with the Steel Block Bandits was a tough battle to come out on top but, we managed to pull off consecutive Championships. Walker Arthur Started racing at age of 17, quickly grasped throttle control and how to wheel the cars around the track. For 9 years Arthur has left his impression on fans & drivers from GA to PA. In 2008 Arthur dominated the Late Model Division at Virginia Motor Speedway to take home the Track Championship and a nice bonus. Traveling the Mid Atlantic and East Cast in 2010 Arthur captured the Steel Block Bandits Championship Crown. The wheelman of the #87 Super Late & Late Model Dirt Cars, Arthur is setting his eyes on the 2011 Steel Block Bandit Series Championship. Walker has a passion for racing and working on his cars and looks forward to securing a full-time sponsorship to compete in the Lucas Oil Series or World of Outlaws.Most exciting time? First Late Model and in the same night I won the Sportsman race. But on this hot, muggy Saturday night Arthur showed everyone in attendance that he is also going to be a force in the Victory Late Models as he took home his first career victory in the divisions 35 lap feature on W.C. Starling Tree Service Night. To top that off Arthur also dominated the Truckin Thunder Sportsman 30 lap feature to pick up his sixth win in a row and make it a two win night for the Forest, VA driver. "I couldnt imagine in my wildest dreams winning in two divisions on the same night, this is absolutely awesome and a great fathers day present for my father", commented the very exhausted Arthur in victory lane
